No stranger to taking the stage in front of millions of viewers, Katy Perry is set to help announce the nominees for the 2011 MTV Video Music Awards on Wednesday night (July 20).
The “Fireworks” songstress will reveal this year’s picks at 11pm ET on MTV.
Per MTV’s website, “The nominations special and live stream will serve up even more bold names as well as music experts employing Skype, Twitter and Facebook to give post-VMA nominee-announcement commentary and reactions.”
The always action-packed, annual Video Music Awards will air live on Sunday, August 28 from the Nokia Theater in Los Angeles at 9pm ET/PT.
